Appetizer Contest: Blue Cheese Turkey Roll ups

    6 thick slices of turkey
8oz package of plain cream cheese
8oz of blue cheese (vary amount depending on how strong you want it)
    toothpicks

Beat the blue cheese and the cream cheese together in a bowl. Let it come to room temperature so that it softens.

Take the turkey slices and spread the cheese mixture on them. Roll them up long ways and then cut the rolls into three or four pieces each. Spear them with toothpicks and refrigerate until serving.

This appetizer is a real crowd pleaser.
    1/2 lb. hot italian sausage
5 ounces finely chopped fontina or brie
    handful of parmesan and mozzarella
    2 T. flat leaf parsley
12 slices of rustic, coarse textured bread, cut into 2+ inch serving pieces

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Take sausage out of casing, crumble into a large bowl. Add the cheeses, parsley and salt to taste. Place in a single layer on a baking sheet. bake in the oven until golden and crispy, 15 minutes or so.

You can always change this recipe up by adding chopped grape tomatoes, pepperoni, olives, peppers of any kind and green onions or onions of any kind. The possibilities are endless and YUMMY:)))
